McFarlane NFL Legends Continues to Wow Collectors With Series 3 |
|
One of the most eagerly anticipated release announcements on McFarlane’s schedule is the NFL Legends series. In the first two sets we were wowed by figures of the likes of Barry Sanders, LT, Joe Montana, Walter Payton, Jim Brown, and a fingerless Ronnie Lott (ok, maybe that only wowed me). Legends 3 continues the trend with figures of John Elway (his second), Dan Marino, Roger Staubach, Reggie White, Earl Campbell, and yes Bo Jackson, the one collectors everywhere have been waiting for. "Our NFL Legends lineup is our most popular Sports Picks line of the year - winner of the Action Figure Award for "Best Lineup" two years running. Collectors have filled the message board with requests, and begged Todd for hints in his "ToddCasts" every week. With this much anticipation, it"d be hard to live up to our collector's cumulative expectations - but the NFL Legends 3 lineup is up to the challenge. It features a pair of explosive running backs, two of the best quarterbacks of all time, our first NFL Legends sequel figure, and arguably the game's greatest defender - who remains an honored legend in two passionate NFL cities. Enough hoopla then! McFarlane Toys is proud to present NFL Legends Series 3" Yes McFarlane, you definitely lived up to the hype. Just when I thought Todd had outdone himself with a Jack Bauer figure, he comes out with a freaking Bo Jackson figure. Bo is probably my all time favorite athlete (and arguably the single best athlete in the history of humanity) as evidenced by my mediocre Royals/Raiders Bo custom I did a few years back. Just for the record, Bo in Tecmo Super Bowl is without argument the single greatest video game athlete EVER...just check out this Bo Jesus video on YouTube. Wohoo, now Bo knows McFarlane! Where do you buy your collectibles online? |

My guess is eBay, and maybe Amazon and a few other places. Why not use SportsLizard’s comparison shopping tool that searches SportsLizard, Amazon, eBay, and Entertainment Earth? |
