Popular questions:
Do I need to have a website to apply for a seller account?
Yes - you either need to have your own website or sell on another site like eBay or NAXCOM. SportsLizard's marketplace can be used to help promote your items that you're selling somewhere else, not as a replacement. When someone buys an item, they're directed to your site to complete the transaction.
How do I get more accurate prices using the Price Guide?
Your Price Guide isn't giving me any information on my card or collectible. Help!
Your Price Guide says that my card/collectible is worth $[some really big number]. Is that accurate?
Possibly. Please read our
Price Guide Tutorial and article on
How to Value a Card or Collectible to learn how to effectively use our price guide and other tools from across the web to confirm the accuracy of pricing. In most cases, there is usually an outlier being factored into the data that is throwing off your pricing. Which is why it's important to learn the proper usage of our tool, as well as how to confirm your pricing with other sources.
How do I sign up for the Price Guide Premium Account?
How do I cancel my Price Guide Premium Account?
Log in to your PayPal account at
www.PayPal.com. After logging in you can cancel by clicking the "Cancel Subscription" button found when you view the details of your subscription (
see example image). Once cancelled, you'll still have access to your account until your term expires (either a trial period or the month that you have paid for).
Do you buy cards? What is the best way to sell my collection?
We do not buy cards or collectibles. We generally recommend selling the most valuable pieces of a collection on eBay and then unloading the rest locally on Craigslist or to a card shop. eBay takes a lot of time and effort - you'll get the best price for more valuable cards, but it isn't worth it to ship less valuable cards one at a time (nor is it cost-effective to ship thousands of low-value cards in one shipment). On Craigslist you'll likely be able to find someone locally who will give you one price for the remaining cards and be able to pick up the cards, saving you on the shipping. You could also consider donating your cards to a children's hospital or other charitable organization (in some cases you may be eligible for a tax deduction).
